Big hole in the road!

Back in Manchester today - you know, the great big building site! It turns out this huge hole is all to do with the new metro line that is going right through the centre of the city. This hole (up to 5 metres deep) is for re-routing electricity and phone cables so there! We never think what's just below our feet do we?
