Common Grackle

 The sky is so overcast that it made everything look washed out & made all the birds that were sitting on the wires look like  silhouettes against the sky with no visible detail! But I liked this grackle who was  perched up on all the connecting wires by the telephone pole, so I played around a bit with it in photoshop until I could get some detail on it's wings. It sure was making a lot of noise--probably warning the others to head back down south, as it's still only in the low 30's & is supposed to drop to 7 degrees tonight-----no wonder my daffodils have only just broken the surface of the ground--they know it's too soon to come up any farther! :)
