Maldives Water Villas At Night

I went out about 1am for a couple of hours to get some night time long exposures. My favourite of the expedition is the Blip photo which shows the illuminated pier to the Water Villas, and some of the villas lit up with stars overhead. It sort of sums up what The Maldives are all about.

The awful news today is of the co-pilot that appears to have deliberately crashed the Germanwings plane killing 149 innocent people. I feel for the victims, their familes and friends. The family of the co-pilot are also victims. How do you understand how your son or brother could do such a thing?

We live in a beautiful world but as with every positive their is a negative. Lets hope that positive never dips below 50% and, God willing, good always triumphs over evil.

We are both making a recovery and feeling better. We went for a drink this evening and met a lovely couple from Malvern who go home tomorrow. The bar is circular and has lounge beds and nets where you can lay down and look up at the stars. Great for relaxing.
