Weirdly wonderful!

This is, as the title says, weirdly wonderful - or wonderfully weird! Seeing as I am back in Lancashire (TEMPORARILY!) I had to have some Bonds ice cream. When I was down here in December I sampled some of their Christmas variety, which had spices and fruit and booze in and was probably the best I had ever tasted. When you opened the lid you were hit with the aroma of cinnamon and alcoholic fruit. It was glorious!

When I saw this I knew it would be worth tasting. I spent a fair amount of my teens walking in the Lake District and always with a packet of Kendall mint cake, usually the brown variety, in my rucksack, and can never resist it when I see it. To see it in ice cream form was an unlooked for joy! And it didn't disappoint either - although no one else could see its appeal - still, this did mean that I didn't have to share it!
