Bedraggled

The rain set in quite early today and has persisted with only brief periods without. Made the task of moving from the flat in the hospital grounds to a new house that the DHB is renting for us, rather less than comfortable. It is very close to the ocean, and the Coastal Walkway.

When the rain eased a bit I went for a run along the walkway and on the way saw the flash of colour from a goldfinch, and managed to get a reasonable photo with the compact camera. (Using it as it's smaller and fits easily into an almost waterproof pouch.)

When the weather is better I will be able to get some good views of the bay.
