Modern Merry-Go-Round

Last night, Grace and I read an article on biogas digesters in Uganda.

This morning, she carved a walking stick using Grandpa's tools. She says she'll put a mark on it after every hike.

At the beach this afternoon, she shoveled sand like crazy, digging a giant hole.

When we finally got back to the cabin, she played a round of disc golf with Matt.

She's an incredible girl.

It was fun for me to watch Quinn put puzzles together and become more facile with figuring out combinations of 10. He understands and can compose equations. He has no desire to write his name, however.

Matt and I are hoping to get a night out in Newport.
