The Corner of Main Street and Route 27

It was a gray day with the threat of rain in the sky.  Still no sign of buds on the trees and the grass is still gotten back it's rich green color.  It didn't matter though because I had art class today and I made my own colors for the day. 
I took this photo sitting at the traffic light having just picked up my granddaughter from nursery school.  I realized that I enjoy seeing things like this on Blip from people in other countries.  It becomes so ordinary to us who see it everyday but when I see a scene like this from someplace far away, I find myself studying every little thing in the photo.
All the things that are different and many that are the same.  A little glimpse into another interesting place.

The rain has started.  I think it is supposed to rain for the next couple of days.  Hopefully that will get everything growing and looking more green.
