Wide Angle Wednesday

Sad news started the morning when I learned a co-worker and friend of five years died last night after a long battle with colon cancer. There are many things I could and should write... kind, helpful, never complaining...yet she was a very private person and will respect that. 

These sayings in the lobby of the hospital I worked in today seemed appropriate. The point I know she recently commented on  is how people wasted so much life getting upset of such trivial things while she quietly struggled with certain end-of-life issues and the care/future of her 3 year old daughter. Laura, you will not be forgotten or how you made me feel.
