It's been 3 months in the making but Ferguson finally unveiled his chosen (rather than birth rite) football allegiance to his Manchester United father this afternoon.
Having already developed the superstition that the Spurs kit is more powerful & allows him to score goals, he didn't want to take it off.
He & I were playing football outside when Ian turned up & the little Tottnan fan climbed into the car without any comment. I was slightly surprised.
I met Alexander in town afterwards & we headed to Didsbury for the evening.
Good beers, company & food followed. The humous, however was somewhat inferior to what I've been used to lately...!
