This memorial stone sits above one of the beautiful beaches on Burra Isle. The inscription is
" Here Axel Eliezer Nielsen rests
Ships carpenter from 
Berger Norway
1.22.1850  3.28.1903
Drowned off South Havra
When the barque LOUISE
of Drammen capsized
Placed here 7.10.1996 by
Harald Hansen great grandson and
his children Martine & Alexander" 

This is exactly how it was written and I wonder if that was meant to be Bergen rather than Berger.
