to join the others

It may have been Sam's birthday, but it was Dexter who got the best present today.  His plate that I commissioned from The Garvald Edinburgh pottery was finally delivered to me today in the workshop and I love it.  I will take pride of place next to his mum's and Oma's plates.

Sam got a brief lie in and a couple Disney dvds for his birthday (he'll share these with Dexter).  His proper present will be a bowling ball just as long as he chooses one!

He's off out with the boys for some drinks and is on holiday for the next few days. Lucky guy.  I wonder if he'll mind if I drink all the wine....
