Day of the solar eclipse

Friiday, 20th March 2015, 9 35 am, Midlothian.

The almost fully eclipsed sun is behind me. 

I don't know how well this picture shows the eerie atmosphere of this moment but look how dusky it is where I stand (I'm not standing under this big thick cloud, there was blue sky above my head) and how the rays of sun still hit the hills in the distance.
