The Pendle Dalesman.
It was another beautiful day. I spent most of the morning taking the recycling and CC shopping. Just before lunch she rang and suggested I got ready for a trip out. Last night we had mentioned the fact there was another steam train coming up the Settle to Carlisle railway but not decided to go. We changed our minds.
We arrived in the area with enough time to scout for a suitable view point and still have a cuppa before the train arrived. So here you have Galatea a LMS Jubillee class loco built in 1936 pulling a lot of carriages but I didn't have time to count!
After getting our shots we went back into Culgaith and had a pleasant wander round the local garden centre. All in all a very pleasant afternoon.
