Wrecked again
I've used this wreck before, boldly claiming it is the James A Wright. The sand has moved so more is exposed than hitherto. However I probably lied to you about the name.
Today I explored an excellent cupboard in the local library full of documents about local history and came upon a letter in reply to a local from the National Maritime Museum stating that whilst the James A Wright was beached on Baleshare, it carried on working afterwards. This leaves the problem of what vessel was wrecked on the beach?
I have asked the question of the aforementioned National Maritime Museum and hope they will take up the trail! Watch this space!
