Silvery Tay
A bright, sunny day.
A busy but productive morning sorting out sending money to Uganda. The church in Bugiri was faced with a crisis in the Primary School which they run. Recently, in their local area, another school had been attacked and some people killed. The Government decided that, because the school buildings were not substantial enough to be safe, all schools would be closed down if they didn't meet these updated requirements. They were given a month to meet the standards. The church there raised enough to build the walls but knew they would need a further $2,000 to put proper roofs on. Our small church has raised around $500 so far and this is what I arranged to be sent. We are trusting that friends of the school around the world will raise enough for the work to be completed.
In the afternoon I attended the third session of the Listening Course. On the way home I saw this lovely view of the Tay, lit by the sun, which was hiding behind a cloud. You can just see that on the opposite side of the river, a fire was sending up smoke.
