Lambing time at Ickworth Park ....

and since our last visit lots more baby lambs have been born. These on this side of the field are slightly older and are on open ground but opposite are the newly born lambs with their mothers surrounded by a small electric fence to keep them contained until they are a little older. We just missed the chance of a lovely photo of a black lamb which had lost its mother and came running up towards Bracken, perhaps mistaking him for a sibling, and was so very close when all of a sudden the mother called out and it ran off!
