Memories

Next Monday we're having a street party and I've been tasked with making lots and lots of cupcakes for the children's tea party. This is an easy job for me as I make lots of cupcakes for the school and my children, however I always put the frosting on top with a knife and smooth it over. Since it is such a special occasion, I have decided to pipe it on like the Primrose Bakery and other specialist bakeries do.

So today at lunchtime I went in search of a piping bag and a nozzle. Found myself in our local kitchen shop which I love and inevitably came out with more things than I went in for! These I couldn't resist... paper straws like I remember from my childhood!
