Waiting for the Man

There I was valiantly assessing one of the programme risks, when a text popped up telling me that today was Dave Mackay's funeral - the cortège would leave Tynecastle at 1:15 and make its way to Mansfield Place Church. Well, that was just a short tram ride away - soon I was at Haymarket and the Hearts fans were gathering. Anyway, I captured the scene. And tweeted it. What joy - Jambos Kickback retweeted it! But, but, further joy was to follow.

Later, 'twas Jazz Club! And there was a young band all the way through from Glasgow playing Zappa - Steele Plays Zappa. And they were damn good.
And that should have been that, but it finishes a bit early for going straight home. It does!
