Lovely gift

My friend John who has a bookshop in Ambleside messaged me to say "he had a present for me and to call in when passing". As today was his birthday I called in to say happy birthday.
He said I've had this signed original in the window and its faded and thought what could I do with it? I know I'll give it to Gina as a reminder of finishing the Wainwrights. Such a lovely thought and I'm very chuffed.
I did say I felt guilty as its his birthday and I got a gift, he said seeing you is a gift in itself!! Very smooth John
