I must fly!

Yet another hot and gorgeous day in Ayr found me taking a very long walk stopping every few steps to take photos.

I kept thinking I'd got the perfect picture and eventually Mom and I went into TK Maxx for a cuppa and I put my camera away.

Imagine my delight to see a big, fat seagull sat on the bridge over the river on the way back! I thought 'He'll do! He's even posing!' so out came the camera again. I didn't notice the man with his girlfriend walking slightly to my right I was so intent on getting my perfect shot. The chap decided to step towards the bird quickly and he took off! This was all that was left! So, you have an action shot; a bit of seagull escaping.

The man laughed like a drain and told me he was sorry he'd ruined my shot and offered to drop his shorts and wave his backside at me. I wasn't exactly overcome with gratitude and decided to stick with bird's arse instead.

I love this track. I don't suppose you can really call a seagull a 'Bird of Paradise' but I liked him anyway!
