Same view....with boat

OK I did get some other photos today mostly birds near here…will put some on flickr eventually — but this is what we will remember—-finishing painting the boat today.    Because:  blipper Mrs. Unremarkable volunteered to come over from the UK to paint the bottom next time!!!!!!!!!   an offer never before heard of!!  who knows, it might be worth sending her a ticket!     Mostly our friends run the other way…. So I thought I’d show her the boat.   Not such a huge project really.   :-)  
It’s  name Is “Hi Ho Silver”  - because it arrived from the north in 1992 while I was here alone living on our sailboat, sitting on the beach watching 2 of these boats roaring over the waves with riders standing up as if driving horses. .. One was our boat, being delivered,  one was to bring the driver home….


It started to rain again so we had to put it in the boathouse to finish touching up the red—that’s supposed to be a viking horse… :-)   I think these boats aren’t made anymore but we are very fond of it… the motor is not the same one…  - and it’s good for kids to learn …..
