A paddle in the back garden

This morning whilst out on the hill with the dogs, the bay below looked too inviting. Flat glassy waters under vibrant blue skies and very little wind.

I dived home and threw on the wetsuit...Except I am a little heavier than last time I wore it...so it was a bit more like grunting and heaving my way into it!

Then out for a paddle to test the kayak was watertight for a proper paddle out tomorrow. It was bliss. Fulmars were very curious and circled me close to the water and dipping the tips of their wings in the sea occasionally.

I then went and collected Evie the Wonderdog for a wander at Warebeth with our mutts. What a beautiful day.

Back home and eventually Gorgeous joined me from work. Then off to dog torture with Sigyn. She's doing well, bless her.
