Down In The Woods

He's Back!
But not for long
The Cygnet is just too darned loud - and anyway ......... a wide angled lens isn't really conducive with wildlife & bird photography.

While we were in the woods we met a lady out walking her deerhound.
Or at least she had been.
She was now looking for it after it spotted a deer and did what deerhounds do and went off to play with it.

Squirrel was really hard work today - she had been woken too early by her brother and was overtired but refusing to lie quietly during the afternoon.
Needless to say, the fighting started in earnest when her brother got home.

I am now at home in a nice peaceful house but can't have a dram as I have to go out later and collect SWMBO from the station at 10pm.
She was going to phone me yesterday but has kept shtoom since I left her in Rotherham on Sunday afternoon.
However, NO1 phoned to say her had put her on the train so I know she is on her way.
