Air Sea excercises

I am not a plane spotter but I guess this is a Chinook helicopter and a Royal Marimes RIB on a training excercise.

The helicopter picked up the RIB and its crew, flew them around and then lowered them again.

I chose this image as I liked the spray kicked up by the twin blades.

I was VERY far away and used the digital 2x tele converter on the 300mm lens on a micro four thirds format, so in 35 mm terms, I had 1200mm.

The grain really shows, but I am thinking it's art innit?
