River Lavant with Daffodils
Chemo #2 yesterday, went ok, no reactions. Just need a better month than the last with fewer side effects. One of the blood tests was slightly worrying until I heard an explanation which fit and what’s more, I could understand.
This is a bank of the River Lavant down at my favourite West Dean Tea Room while I am still allowed to mix with people. I've mentioned before that this is known by the lovely name of a winterbourne, a stream that only runs in the winter over chalk.
On the right you can see a traditional Sussex barn made from brick and flint, and on the left a cottage made of the same local materials.
