Birnie Loch

I was picking up bird seed this morning so popped along to nearby Birnie Loch where it is always a delight to watch the large variety of bird life both on and off the water.

I was amused by the Barnacle Goose in the foreground which had obviously paired up with the larger Greylag and followed her around grazing beside her and chasing off any other geese which dared come near her!
