Voigtlander Bessa

The Voigtlander company was founded in Vienna in 1756, moved to Braunschweig in Germany in 1849, and is claimed to be the oldest name in cameras.  Because I've had the plate camera  since I was a teenager, I was interested to see what other cameras they made. This one is the Bessa, which was produced between 1929 and 1956, with lots of variations. I think this example probably came from around the mid-1930s. The shutter speeds are 1/125, 1/100, 1.50, 1/25, B and T and lens apertures are from f/6.3 to f/22.  It takes 8 or 16 shots on 120 film. The lens focus adjusts, but I can't read the distance for the nearest setting.
