X marks the spot

Or a cross does ....

Saw this in a wee wooded area along the North Inch in Perth. The horizontal was a loose branch from somewhere that must have fallen and caught onto the tree but it actually stretched quite a distance either side - it was like its centre of gravity had landed smack bang in the middle of the vertical tree's branch.

I took some photos for a further distance away but I liked this close one with the wishbone-like twig also hanging on in there and joining the party.
