Day 63 - Look Up

What a great sky we had today. I skied with a good friend and a couple of his colleagues this morning under a perfect blue sky. We stopped for a late morning coffee at a mountain refuge and when I looked up I saw lots of birds riding the thermals, including a big eagle. My phone wasn't really up to the job, but I managed to capture something to share. The French call these birds Choucas, they are a bit like a raven. My translation app says it's a jackdaw. Let me know if anyone has any better information on the Choucas.

And I got the fastest time on piste La Finance on Strava today, then went for a bike ride this afternoon. Every day skiing is a good day.
