today we had easter assemblies at one secondary school and then ran gospel choir workshops in another one. it's quite bizarre how different two schools can be, on different sides of the same town.

martin has worn sandals through the whole of the winter. pretty much the only times he puts shoes on are when i force him into it if we are doing an assembly. he finds the whole thing so unbearable that he changes back the minute the assembly is over. looking at his feet always makes me feel cold.
