Assorted Waltons And One Jeremy Vine

It was inspection time up the allotment today.

Jeremy Vine is doing the show from Cardiff tomorrow, so he popped up the allotment to pre-record some stuff to go out at the end of the show.

It has been unbelievably ten years since he visited for the last but one General Election. It was almost two years to the day since he last visited for the One Show segment on Prostate Cancer.

He always seems to bring the weather with him. It was a glorious afternoon on the Rhondda Hillside. He recorded his bits and pieces, he didn't fall for the winter pear (I swear dad will do a spaghetti tree next time he is up), and was generally charming as usual.

Not a bad end to a brilliant weekend .. there's a very busy week ahead!
