A shopping trip to Keswick today for some new fell walking boots. The assistant measured my feet, went to get the ones she thought most suitable for my wide feet and came back to say they had neither a 5 or 5.5. The other ones she suggested I didn't like the look of. 

The upside is that it gave me more time to wander and take photos by Derwentwater. This is one of the many fences that stick out into the lake.
