Tangerine Dream

After a really damp and dismal morning, the afternoon has turned out quite nice, bright blue skies,scudding clouds, but chilly again!

We visited a garden centre later this morning, had lunch there, lovely smoked salmon granary baguette with lemon and black pepper mayonnaise. The plants were very expensive and although we are on the look out for a couple or three new shrubs,,that wasn't the place to buy them unless you want to spend £70/80. I got another variety of thyme for our herb garden, and hub got some mixed sweet peas to pot on in the greenhouse.

A wander around our garden later on revealed a few more flowers appearing, anemone blanda is starting to open, just one so far, the muscari are up but not vibrant blue just yet, and then I noticed this orange geum in flower. The white dust on the petals must be from the concrete panel the fence guys cut with their circular saw! I didn't notice until downloaded!

We did think about going out for another walk just before tea, but decided against it!
