Walk through the birch wood

Such a fine day of unlimited sunshine. I passed these very happy dogs in the Atholl Woods. It's a fabulous environment for canines off the leash - no shortage of sticks! I loved the dappled light on the birch wood. They were harvesting much larger trees further on and I could hear the sawmill processing the trunks at full bore. Timber is big business here in Perthshire.
