An extremely happy and excited boy left for school camp this morning, a packet of chocolate biscuits, the requisite number of pairs of socks and he went without a backward glance. In fact when the bus pulled away he was too busy talking to the boy behind him to bother waving at his mum who waited in the cold for 30 minutes to send him off. Secretly rather pleased he was so comfortable about going, he had a little wobble last night and given that anytime he has spent the night away from me he's been with my mum I was in danger of a wobble too, all good this morning ... now time to tackle all the lego on his bedroom floor, I need a project while he's away!
