Freedom from the roads

I don't travel without my hubby. I'm a bit housebound due to anxiety and even when we go out together I'm a very nervous passenger and loathe motorways with a passion.

The problem is the cost of public transport, at least in terms of trains, means we only ever go places in the car.

A friend of mine mentioned the disabled rail card last week, which it seems I am eligible for, so I applied.
Very impressed to see it arrive today. We are already planning a little trip up to the lakes.
