Roof bolting

These two heavy structures sit out the back of one of the local pubs and once a year come into use for the roof bolting competition.  I think!

I've never actually seen it I'm afraid to say, but it usually goes hand in hand with the coal shovelling competition.  They're both (you may be surprised to hear) always really well attended and a real crowd pleaser (apparently)

At any rate, they struck me as strong structures, both in line and fabrication, and I guess you'd have to be pretty strong to take on the challenge.  

So here's my entry into monomonday challenge - strength.
