"Unknown wild flower?"

Right, I saw these flowers whilst out early one morning, didn't have my camera! went back a bit later and they had all closed up! so picked a bunch!
I have been through my wild flower book and so has JennyWrenny and we havn't a clue what they are! they grow between 2/3ft and are more mauve than this picture captures, I know its not an exicting photo but have taken it so you can see the leaves and habitat.
Any ideas, anyone? ( even had a look in my garden flower book)
