Window Shopping!!

Otago anniversary day = public holiday for some.
Busy start to this day...
Up, shower, dress, hang out a load of washing, breakfast, pay the mower man, drive into city centre for coffee at the museum and then left the Mother to her own devices whilst I went for a review appointment at the dental school - all well, another review in 12 months. Walked back to the car via a couple of stops to take photos to find the Mother sitting quietly inside enjoying the warmth of the sun seeping into her old bones.
Home for lunch and a nana nap then off to family home where we had a celebratory pizza tea for birthday girl's 26th.  Just home feeling very tired ...fighting off the flu/cold.  Aching muscles, hot gritty eyes, dry mouth, sore throat...... and so to bed!
