Beauty is all around us.

The Roebuck Pub, Rishton.

The Roebuck dates back to 1753 and it was originally an old coaching house for travellers between Blackburn and Burnley. It is set at an angle from the present day road.
It is all decorated in red, white and blue for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
A very popular pub, but repeatedly to let, as can be seen from the sign.
Times are hard for many local pubs and we are fortunate to still have this one.
The local councillor, Ken, holds weekly quizs there. They attract local bands.
It is a good venue for watching football matches and recently they have had psychic events there as well.
I rarely drink, but we have enjoyed a good meal there on special occasions.
