Mountain Mahogany in bloom

I was very surprised to see that some of the Mountain Mahogany is already in bloom.  I felt very fortunate to get these photos.  The flowers are so tiny and delicate that the high winds we have been having just knock the flowers off the bush. The leaves you see here are only about 1/2 to 1 inch wide (about 13 to 25 cm), which are about the same width of the entire flower bunch.
