Tees Barrage

In the foreground is a diversion of the river Tees in which an international artificial white water course has been constructed. Started in November 1991 and opened in 1995 this course has successfully hosted many international events. It is also open to the public with white water rafting, canoeing and many other fun events to enjoy .
