Springtime

Today was like the first proper day of spring and even verging on summery.

After church this am we went swimming, T and C, not me this time - I watched. C had been asking to go on the big green waterslide ever since we went to the pool on Wed when it wasn't open. He went down with Daddy and enjoyed the slide ride but decided not to go on again after he went right under the water in the pool and swallowed a load of water at the end, think it was a bit of a surprise! I suspect he'll be back though :-)

We had a fab afternoon playing in the garden and doing some great springtime pruning - the garden did need a bit of a haircut and looks great for it now, especially the triffid like wisteria. C busied himself with a mud kitchen, gathering soil and bucketfuls of water in his wheelbarrow. A right muddy mess but he loved it!

Meal out tonight at Bella Vita with my neighbour Marina, a lovely treat :-)
