Red squirrel ramble

Grace is a member of the local wildlife trust and they held a red squirrel event today. We learned about the squirrels from a conservationist and laid out food but unfortunately missed out on seeing any. The rest of our party did see one later, but after about 90 minutes of the trail, Grace's concentration was lost so we rambled off towards the waterfall at the end of the trail on our own. Arwen coped brilliantly and walked over three miles with no complaints other than when I tried to help her! Hubby went off with his camera to do some work and took Ophelia with him to be his trusty assistant. We all got back together later for a snack lunch before heading home to see my sister and brother in law who were visiting this weekend. They've just come back from what sounds like an incredible holiday in Costa Rica. Lovely to see them again after three weeks apart.
