A new view on things

I thought I'd seen our house from all angles but today I went looking for a village recorded nearby on a 1799 map and ended up walking over a small hill I hadn't been on before to see our house in the middle distance.
I also ended up finding ruins of five buildings that I must have driven past literally hundreds of times before without noticing them.
Just goes to show that if you keep looking, you will continue to see a new things.
