Into town today for an Ear, Nose and Throat referral about my snoring and possible sleep apnoea. My doctor reckoned the size of my tonsils might be playing a big part. The consultant was dismissive of this until he stuck and endoscope in my nasal passage (uncomfortable) and realised he could see my tonsils from the back of my nasal passage. He took a while trying to work out what they were because apparently you shouldn't be able to see them from there.

The upshot is that I've been referred for a tonsilectomy which means two weeks off. If I get lucky I can time it during the holidays, but I guess I'll have to wait and see when it's offered to me.

Only got a few shots from teh car today and this was the best of them.
