Fruits of our labours
These are the wee fruits (seeds?) of the yellow tree peony (Paeonia ludlowii for all you plant geeks) that I found while weeding the borders today with help from some A's and a P. It is the first time that it has set fruit, after 5 years or so. Thanks to all our joint efforts the garden is starting to look ready for Spring, and maybe a sale?
See darap's effort for another take on our day.
