Clare's birthday

She was a lucky recipient of one and 4/5ths of knitted socks. I sat and finished the last bit while we sipped on some drinks of loveliness.

Funny afternoon (funny haha not funny peculiar) at the parents. Clare turned her back for a moment so we started playing Rummikub much to her disgust with Jay making us play proper rules instead of random methods we like to make up. Daisy drank too much coke and was very rude to everyone . It was all very good fun.

I am a little weary now so off to bed. Hurrah for a week working from home.
