Chilly March Sunday in Barcelona
We had a pizza lunch in an authentic Italian place we'd come across a few days ago - bustling, basic, run by Italians and thin crispy pizzas at a very good price. Wandered then down into the centre and it was chilly and wet, but good to get the walk and fresh air. Took shelter in here: René, on Consell de Cent 362. This blip shows the restaurant part up the back, but they have a nice relaxed part at the front too where you can have a coffee and pastry or a drink. It's an old pasteleria (baker's) turned into a restaurant. The service seems very good, the music quiet and jazzy, free wifi. What's not to like?
