A Dutch Master

This is my favourite piece of pottery. It's a Dutch vogelpot I bought in Utrecht years ago. They turn up in some Dutch paintings and were used as bird boxes, but they used to take the eggs out and eat them.

It's only be used by one pair of blue tits and one pair of great tits, so each time is still very special.
